Bed Bug Specialists,
Not General Pest Control

The Bedbug Experts is a specialist company. We don't do termites, we don't do rodents, and we don't send whoever was free that morning. We treat bed bugs, and we treat them with Aprehend.

Why we exist

Why We Built Our Service Around Aprehend

Most bed bug jobs fail the same way. A technician sprays, the product dries, and three weeks later the eggs hatch into a room with nothing left in it to stop them.

The customer calls back. The company comes out again, sprays again, and charges again. After the third round people stop believing bed bugs can be beaten at all, which is roughly the point at which most of them find us.

We built The Bedbug Experts around a different bet: that the thing which actually matters in bed bug work isn't how fast a product kills, it's how long it stays alive after the truck leaves. That bet is why Aprehend is our primary service rather than an upsell. One application holds a room for up to three months. Eggs that hatch in week five walk into a barrier that's still working.

It isn't magic and we won't pretend otherwise. Heavy infestations still need extraction, direct treatment, encasements and follow-up. But finishing every job with a live barrier instead of a dry surface is the difference between a job that ends and a job that keeps coming back.

How we work

How We Approach Every Bed Bug Job

We inspect before we quote

No phone estimates. A price given before anyone has looked under the box spring is a number invented to win a call, and it changes the moment the technician arrives.

We tell you if it isn't bed bugs

Carpet beetles, fleas and skin reactions all get mistaken for bed bugs. If that's what we find, we say so and you don't get sold a treatment you don't need.

We check the neighbors

In multi-unit buildings, treating one apartment repeatedly while the source sits next door is the most expensive mistake in this industry. We look at adjacent units before we plan the work.

We don't push furniture disposal

Throwing out a mattress is rarely necessary and often makes things worse by dragging bugs through shared hallways. Encasements cost less and work better.

We finish on evidence, not on a visit count

Monitors and interceptors stay in place and we read them. The job closes when the traps are clean, not when a package expires.

We arrive quietly

Unmarked vehicles on request. Nobody in your building or your lobby needs to know why we're there.

Credentials

Licensed and Insured Bed Bug Exterminators

  • New York State licensed pesticide applicators
  • Fully insured, with certificates available on request
  • Trained in Aprehend application: low-volume, low-pressure banding, applied strictly to label
  • Integrated pest management approach: inspection, extraction and monitoring alongside product application
  • Written treatment records for every visit, which landlords, managers and insurers can use

Ask us for our license number and insurance certificate before you book. Any legitimate company will hand them over without hesitating, and you should be suspicious of one that doesn't.

Our methods

Bed Bug Treatment Methods We Use

No single technique solves every infestation. What matters is knowing which one a given job actually needs, and being honest when a cheaper option would do.

Aprehend Barrier Application

Our primary method and the one we build most jobs around. Narrow bands of fungal spores along bed bug travel routes, active for up to three months. It is the only part of a treatment that keeps working after the technician leaves, which is why it finishes nearly every job we do.

Vacuum Extraction

HEPA extraction of live bugs, eggs and shed skins before any product goes down. It is unglamorous and it is the fastest way to cut a population immediately, particularly for eggs, which most chemical treatments handle poorly.

Targeted Harborage Treatment

Direct treatment of cracks, voids, frame joints and furniture seams where bed bugs cluster. Product choice depends on the surface and the room, and it is always applied to label.

Encasements and Monitoring

Bed bug-proof mattress and box spring encasements trap what is left inside, and interceptors under every leg give us evidence rather than guesswork about whether activity has stopped.

What we will not do is sell you a method because it sounds impressive. Whole-room heat, for example, is genuinely effective on the day but leaves nothing behind, so anything that retreated into a wall void walks straight back a week later. If heat is the right call for your situation we will say so, and we will recommend finishing it with an Aprehend barrier to catch the survivors.
